Taking a spontaneous trip to Barcelona proved more eventful than anticipated when Keji stumbled on the Saint Market BCN Designers exhibition at Plaza Catalunya running from 21st-23rd May 2015.
We headed there after a long day of shopping on Thursday 21st May, and got chatting with Barcelona designers including Bow Tie creators Bond & Burlington, Kunmi – leather designer of Minku Lagos, Jessica from SSIC & PAUL and a swimwear designer from Reset Priority, to name a few of our favourites below…
Check them out 🙂

(Barcelona Womenswear Designers)
The designs perfect the cute, girlie but grown minimalistic look, showcasing the European seasonal trend of box-cuts, frills and flairs – with lots of whites and light colours for the Summer. Started by two friends Jessica and Paula in Barcelona 2012, SSIC & PAUL have a number of set-ups in Spain, and definitely a brand worth looking out for to appear in the UK.

Reset Priority Swimwear

(Designed in Barcelona, made in Italy)
The womenswear brand is created by an Italian couple, and what is most loveable about this swimwear is the beautiful prints used throughout the collection, specifically designed for the season and manipulated invariably in the matching sets. The pieces boasted of great quality, and I loved the hand-made touches such as the braided bikini bra straps. Check them out!

Minku Lagos

(Designed & hand-made in Barcelona and Lagos, Nigeria)
Swoon by the display of unique hand-made leather bags, but my eyes fell on the pink hand-stitched travel bag. I love everything about one-off pieces and the comfort of knowing there are potentially only a handful of other people in this world styling the same item. For authentic real leather designs, visit Minku’s website!

Colette Barcelona

(Designed & hand-made in Barcelona)
For the most prettiest set of accessories to style shirts, this hand-made vintage collection has a place in every woman’s wardrobe. The lace pieces are definitely statement pieces!

Essy Ello

(Designed and hand-made in Barcelona)
Another jewellery favourite of mine from the designer show features this hand-made dainty jewels. The pieces were perfect in style and simplicity, and for other one-off lovers like myself, this brand is definitely worth knowing!
