This third #FFF article is all about the textured clothes we were able to see on the runways. Feathers, furs, sheep skins and faux are a must this fall.
We saw the very simple Akris looks, with monochromatic colours and wildly oversized coats and the more elegant and chic Ralph Lauren collection, with  soft mauves and dove greys.
Alberta Ferretti’s cue feather skirts had a very earthy and fairytale-like theme. Whilst Chanel (Couture) had tweed dresses with feather sprouting off it and feather accessories. There was tartan and a lot of intricately embroidered pieces.
My favourite out of all is definitely Michael Kors. It was casual yet very mature. Even though there were big fur scarves and coats, the jeans skirts and simple clothing items balanced it all out.
Mui Mui and Gucci are amazing if you look for a pop of colour. Greys and blacks are nice, but as we saw with the Miu Miu coats, tiny details such as bright yellow hoods can make the outfit very sporty. Gucci on the other hand opted for subtle mint green and blush pink coloured coats.
Keeping warm and fuzzy will definitely be very stylish this Autumn/Winter 2014-15.
